Newart !?!?

So I've mentioned a few times in my journal that I'm rewriting Steam Junket, and here is some proof ! New main characters ! On the top left is Mardell Sedgil, a dirt-low pickpocket with sky-high ambitions sporting a pair of shortbarrel shotguns, and on the bottom right is Hanile R. Sceally, a gentle nurse with a not-so-gentle "magic touch".

--THE LOWDOWN--
Drawing Time : Probably 4-6 hours total sketching.
Medium/s : Pencils

--PIPES AND GRIPES--
Take it from me, kids ! NEVER DRAW WITH A DULL PENCILTIP =\. You might THINK there's a pointy tip on the end of that stub that you can draw off of, but it's ALL A LIIIIIIIIE.

And yes, I ran out of room to draw Mardell's shotgun at the length it's supposed to be.

--THINGS I'M RATHER PROUD OF--
Probably the fact that I FINALLY got some solid designs for these two ! You'd THINK that you'd have a good image of the main characters in your head from the start, but these two have been giving me tons of trouble with design for some odd reason !

--A PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS--
HTK fans could probably tell that Hanile's design is partly inspired by Mr. Kim's design for Joan Kartright in War of Genesis III Episode 4. I haven't decided on colors yet, but I'm BATTLING the urge to color Hanile's hair orange.
