Vivian Mais, the Glass Dancer again. Wiki info here: [link]  --THE LOWDOWN--Drawing Time: Probably a total of 4-6 hours, on and off.  --PIPES AND GRIPES--I wasn't satisfied with the original shading on the legs. Glass is a tricky thing to emulate, and using solid colors and shades didn't quite make it seem "faerie" enough. I really felt like I took a dive when I did those textures, but I think the frantic patterns and colors captures the magic of Changling well.  --THINGS I'M RATHER PROUD OF--I really took this chance to start experimenting with Photoshop effects. The textures, the glowing particles, the faded stained-glass background, I think they turned out looking okay.  --A PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS--The symbol on the floor is the wreath of the Spring Court, of which Vivian is a member. --CREDIT WHERE IT'S DUE-- Changeling: The Lost © White Wolf |
