Although I don't really consider Korean art to be 'anime', since it has it's own fling of things (I've seen lots of Korean art that's similar to HTK in a way, so I suppose they all have some general principles). Damn generalizing bastards can't tell the difference though...
Anime is simply short for animation, the only reason it's called that is because in Asia, (Note that its NOT just Japan, like some uninformed people like to spout and look dumb about) they call animatied things anime, and here in the states we call animated things cartoons. Its simply another word for the same thing, and so calling out a group of people who dont care what its called as long as they get to enjoy it is kind of like accusing a candybar of being sweet. It just doesnt make sense, and only someone who thinks they know everything would say something so arrogant and stupid. But i'm glad you already knew that, and that you also know that any form of retaliation against this comment is proof that you are indeed an arrogant, ignorant person. But I know you're not, so you wont try anything dumb now will you? Because you are sooooooo smart. Heh.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
